Cutting depth adjustment
Constant feed with power drill connection

Explanations to the above benefits

Can cut all pipes from OD 14″ / 360 mm upwards: Steel, stainless steel, plastics, cast/ductile iron.

Can cut and bevel cast iron: Special blade guard and disc for this purpose is standard equipment in Cut+Bevel model. Plus model can be used to Cut+Bevel cast/ductile iron pipes, if you separately order the needed accessories.

Cutting depth adjustment: A cutting depth adjustment mechanism that allows to cut pipes at desired cutting depth. This mechanism allows you to cut multi-layer pipes. This feature can be used on any pipe materials as needed. Standard equipment only in Cut+Bevel and Plus models.

Constant feed with power drill connection: Special accessory, gearbox, that can be connected to a power drill for even easier working. Standard equipment only in Plus model. For other models separately orderable.

Infinity models & differences explained briefly

1) Infinity: Standard model

This is the first model of the Infinity Series. Cuts the same pipe sizes and wall thicknesses as the other models, but with a few exception. Neither is there a cutting depth adjustment nor gearbox with power drill connection included. This means you can cut all the basic pipe materials, but without the nice advanced features that take your working comfort to the next level.

2) Infinity: Cut+Bevel model

This model cuts and bevels cast iron pipes in just one process – just like Exact’s other Cut+Bevel models. The standard equipment includes a special blade guard and a special diamond cut bevel disc that allow this to turn into a cast iron cutting and beveling machine without compare. A cutting depth adjustment mechanism is included in this model. You can easily adjust the cutting depth, even during the cutting process.

If you want to use the Cut+Bevel model as a cutter for all other materials – like the Standard model – no problem! Just use the other blade guard included in the standard equipment – and the right blade for your chosen pipe material. You’re now ready for standard cutting again!

Please note that the Cut+Bevel feature only works for cast/ductile iron.

3) Infinity: Plus model

Plus is the premium model of the Infinity Standard. It’s intended for cutting only, but with advanced features. The machine includes cutting depth adjustment mechanism, and additionally a gearbox mechanism. The gearbox mechanism allows power drill connection to it, which in turn allows you to run the pipe cutting operation with constant feed.

With the steady feed rate, consistent cutting result will be guaranteed throughout the pipe cutting process. The best part? You won’t be dropping a sweat!

What is Infinity Series?

Infinity is designed to cut the world’s largest pipes. It is a completely new type of Exact pipe cutting system that uses a chain gripping mechanism. Thanks to the flexibility of the chain segments, it allows you to extend the chain segment as much as you like.

Infinity is available in three different models, depending on your needs. All models can cut all basic materials including steel, stainless steel, plastics, and cast/ductile iron.

With the special blade guard and disc, Infinity Cut+Bevel model can cut and bevel cast iron. Infinity Plus can also be used to Cut+Bevel cast/ductile iron pipes, but additional accessories need to be ordered separately.

Another useful feature in Infinity Series is its cutting depth adjustment mechanism in Cut+Bevel and Plus models that allows cutting of large pipes at the desired cutting depth. This feature can be used on any pipe material as needed. Infinity Plus also comes with a gearbox that can be connected to a power drill for even easier working.

The standard equipment of Infinity includes chains to cover pipe sizes (outside diameter) from 360 mm (14”) to 1850 mm (73”). If you need chains to cut pipes over 1850 mm (73”), simply order additional chain segments, which are sold in 2 m (78”) increments. The standard equipment chains cover the most common large pipe sizes.

We hope this update will help you make an informed decision about which Infinity model best suits your needs. If you have any further questions or would like to order, please contact us.
